Platform Overview

Mission & Purpose

Darukaa.Earth is a pioneering climate-tech and nature-tech platform committed to democratizing climate action and biodiversity conservation at scale. The platform brings radical transparency to carbon removal, biodiversity conservation, and climate finance through cutting-edge digital MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) systems, AI-driven analytics, and community-centric project execution.

Core Objectives - Enable end-to-end carbon and biodiversity project lifecycle management - Provide accurate, real-time climate monitoring through multimodal data integration - Support compliance with global reporting standards (TNFD, CSRD, BRSR) - Democratize nature finance and climate impact investment

Key Capabilities

The platform integrates multiple data modalities and technologies:

Capability Description
Multimodal Data Collection Satellite imagery, drone-based remote sensing, geospatial layers, on-site collected audio, and ground-based field observations
AI/ML Processing Advanced machine learning models for wildlife detection, forest change analysis, and ecosystem health assessment
Digital Geospatial Visualization Intuitive dashboards converting complex climate data into actionable insights
Biodiversity Credit Issuance Automated calculation of biodiversity credits and ecosystem services
Community Integration End-to-end project execution with local stakeholder engagement and benefit distribution
Climate & Biodiversity Modeling Advanced quantification of carbon sequestration, ecosystem services, and biodiversity metrics

Getting Started Tutorials

Setting up Account

  1. Open the Platform - Visit: https://app.darukaa.com
  2. Sign up - Use your email ID and get your email verified
  3. Login - Once verified, login using your credentials

For detailed steps, see Account Setup Guide.

Creating a Project

  1. Navigate to Projects - You'll see a sample project and a button to create a new project
  2. Fill Details - Click "Create New Project" and provide:
  3. Project name
  4. Project type (Carbon, Biodiversity, Climate, or all three)
  5. Carbon Registry and Project Type (if Carbon module selected)
  6. Country, Location, Start date and end date
  7. Submit - Fill mandatory fields and click "Submit"

For detailed steps, see Creating a Project Guide.

Adding Sites

After creating a project, add sites where monitoring will take place:

Method 1: Quick Add - Click "Add first Site" button on project card

Method 2: Site Management - Open project → "Manage Sites" → "Add new site"

Method 3: Bulk Upload - Upload multiple sites via CSV file

You can either: - Draw site boundary on the integrated map - Upload a shapefile in .zip format

For detailed steps, see Adding Sites Guide.

Exploring Dashboards

Once sites are created, explore project-level dashboards:

  • Carbon Dashboard - Carbon stock, biomass, credits
  • Biodiversity Dashboard - Species distribution, biodiversity indices
  • Climate Dashboard - Climate risk assessment

Project-level dashboards show aggregated view of all sites. Select any site to zoom into site-level dashboard.

For detailed steps, see Exploring Dashboards Guide.

Audio Data Upload

Upload audio files for biodiversity monitoring: - Navigate to deployment section - Upload audio files (WAV, MP3, M4A, WEBM) - Maximum 20 files per upload, 25 MB per file, 5 minutes duration - Files are processed automatically for species detection

For detailed steps, see Audio Upload Guide.
