🤝 Collaboration & Rituals¶
At Darukaa, we follow Scrum with a 2-week sprint cadence to ensure focused delivery and continuous improvement.
Sprint Planning¶
- All new requirements must follow the proper process before being planned.
- Each ticket in the GitHub board should have:
- Clear and concise title
- Detailed description
- Well-defined Definition of Done (DoD)
- Tickets without this information will not be accepted for planning.
- During planning, team estimates effort based on guidelines below.
Estimation Guidelines¶
| Story Points | Effort Estimate |
|---|---|
| 1 - 3 | A couple of hours |
| 3 | 1 day |
| 5 | 1 to 3 days |
| 8 | Approximately 1 week |
Use these as a reference to keep estimations consistent across the team.
Daily Stand-ups¶
- Stand-ups happen every workday and should last no longer than 30 minutes.
- Each participant shares:
- What they did yesterday
- What they plan to do today
- Any blockers or help needed
- Focus on updates only — avoid deep technical discussions.
- For detailed conversations, schedule separate calls or sync-ups.
Sprint Retrospective¶
- Held at the end of each sprint.
- Focus on what went well, what can improve, and action points for next sprint.
- Open and respectful communication is encouraged.
General Collaboration Rules¶
- Keep communication transparent and timely.
- Use GitHub issues and boards actively for task tracking.
- Raise blockers early to avoid delays.
- Pair programming and knowledge sharing are encouraged.
Following these rituals helps us stay aligned, productive, and continuously improve as a team. 🚀
